Helnan Phønix Hotel

The hotel is in an old and lovely building. I appreciate that it is well kept and absolutely should not replace what can and should be original or querky features. Loved the old elevator although it broke for a day. Good exercise to take the stairs. Loved that I could sleep with my window open, quiet location considering it is also central. Exellent staff. Very good breakfast buffet. Available early so no rush when having an early start for apoinment. Lovely room.

I had a great stay at this historic hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful!! Apparently the hotel was recently renovated and it's done in a tasteful way. My room (215) was spacious and clean and had a great design, love the bedside lamps!! The bed itself was really comfortable and the bathroom had a bath. The breakfast was good, with enough options to choose from. If you like historical hotels, then this is the place for you in Aalborg!!

Rooms were comfy enough, location is also really nice, staff and breakfast are also nice, wifi works. Room feels clean. Bed and room is comfy. Would gladly stay here again.

The location was central enough to be in the city centre while still being quiet. The old quirky lift was a fun addition to hotel. The room was clean and spacious.
